ABIGram clinical workflow

The InterCare Vascular Diagnostic Center provides the ABIgram procedure to measure the ankle-brachial blood pressure ratio or ankle-arm index for assessment of lower-extremity arterial occlusive disease.

The InterCare Vascular Diagnostic Center simplifies the process of measuring the ABI by eliminating the need for Doppler equipment.

Arterial diseases, such as coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular disease and peripheral arterial occlusive disease, are common in the primary care setting and often co-exist in the same patient.

The ankle/brachial index is a significant predictor of cardiovascular events and stroke. The overall rate of cardiovascular morbidity increases significantly in patients with low ankle-brachial indexes.

The ABIgram uses pressure measurements to calculate the minimum ankle/brachial index, the right ABI and the left ABI.
